Intensive course on the Irish language, placenames and history of South Armagh

Intensive course on the Irish language, placenames and history of South Armagh.

This intensive course will explore the Irish language, placenames and the history of South Armagh, and is suitable for mid‑ to high‑level Irish speakers.

The course will be delivered by scholars Ciarán Dunbar and Ciarán Mac Murchaidh, both of whom have researched the language and placename heritage of the region extensively.

Ciarán Dunbar is a journalist, author and researcher who writes on Irish placenames, their history and the Irish language.

Ciarán Mac Murchaidh is an historian, historian and researcher who has written widely on the minor placenames of South Down and South Armagh.
