A special evening was held in Creggan Church of Ireland to celebrate an important year for the area, the 50th anniversary of the launch of the O’Neill vault, 100 years since the birth of Cardinal Ó Fiaich and the 250th commemoration of Art Mac Cumhaigh. Organised by 3 generations of local people, the night was filled with emotional and funny storytelling from Una Walsh, followed by poetry and songs from Bláithín Mhic Cana and music from Aodh Mac Murchaidh.
