On the 30th of October, An Chrannóg held a family Halloween event which focused on Irish culture, history and of course the Irish language. The morning started off with a guided walk from Annaghmare tomb to Corliss fort with Una Walsh (the Rural Health Partnership), followed by tea in the Pig Gig. After this there was a family event with arts and crafts, pizza, music and dancing. Finally, to wrap up the evening was the biligual singing circle, Glórtha gCuilinn, and a music session.
An Chrannóg is a group based in Cullyhanna which is focused on organising family events through Irish, for more information visit their facebook or instagram.
