The annual Sean-nós na Fearsaide took place this past weekend which celebrate the rich traditions of singing, language, dancing agus lúibíní. The main focus of the weekend is the sean-nós siniging competition in which a selection of singers from south Armagh took part in. Cara McCreesh and Síomha Gribben took part in the U18 competition and Caitlin Lenaghan, Feilimí O’Connor and Ciara Hall took part in the over 18s competition. Congratulations to all who participated!
Síomha Gribben took home Corn Mhic Aindreasa, making her the youngest to ever do so. She will now go on to represent the area again in Oireachtas na Samhna. Maith í féin!
