Gaelphobal Ard Mhacha Theas was honoured to take part in the Micheal J Murphy Winter School again this year, organised by Cuimhneamh. The theme this year was the rebellion of 1798; the evening began with a recitation of ‘Bás an Croipí’ by Dubhghlas de hÍde from the kid’s of An Chrannóg, followed by some songs from Bláithín Mhic Cana and a lecture on the United Irishmen of Newry by Séamas Mac Daibhéid.
