Our Aims

Home > About Us > Our Aims

Our aim is to promote the Irish language, provide opportunities for Irish speakers and learners and to increase the normalization of Irish in everyday life

We hope to achieve this by…

Increasing knowledge, understanding and awareness of the Irish language in South Armagh and the surrounding areas
Increasing knowledge, understanding and awareness of the area’s strong cultural heritage of music, singing, dancing and literature
Boosting the Irish language community in South Armagh by providing opportunities to learn and socialise through Irish
Collaborating with local community, business, and educational groups in South Armagh to support the use if Irish within their organisations
