Our committee set out a thorough language plan in 2021 in order to help achieve our aims. This included the appointment of a full time Irish Language Development Officer who would, alongside the committee, work through the language plan. This development plan has three aims:
To gauge the South Armagh community’s desires regarding Irish 
To assess the current resources and skills of the organisation 
Lay out an activity plan for the years and months ahead to fulfil the aims, and strengthen the structure of the organisation Gaelphobal Ard Mhacha Theas have written this development plan to make a measured and strategized approach to their work and to ensure that it serves the desires of the South Armagh community.
